Description: The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program is a non-degree, professional exchange program funded by the U.S. Department of State. It provides mid-career professionals from designated countries with a 10-month opportunity for professional development in the United States. Unlike traditional academic programs, the Humphrey Fellowship focuses on leadership training, professional networking, and practical experience rather than degree attainment.

Eligibility:

• Nationality

-The full list of eligible countries is updated annually—check the official website or your local U.S. Embassy.

-U.S. citizens/permanent residents are NOT eligible.

• Educational Background

-A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) is the minimum requirement.

-Some countries may prioritize applicants with a master’s degree (varies by national selection criteria).

• Professional Experience

Minimum of 5 years of full-time professional work experience (as of the application deadline).

-Must demonstrate continuous career progression with experience directly related to the chosen field.

-Not eligible: Recent graduates, current students, or applicants without stable professional experience.
