Description: The MENA Scholarship Programme (MSP), also known as the Middle East and North Africa Scholarship Programme, is a fully funded initiative designed to support capacity building and professional development in the MENA region. It is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and administered by Nuffic, the Dutch organization for internationalization in education.The MSP aims to empower professionals from the MENA region by providing them with opportunities for short-term, specialized training in the Netherlands. The program focuses on enhancing skills, knowledge, and leadership capabilities to contribute to societal and economic development in their home countries.
Eligibility:
- The scholarship targets professionals from the following MENA region countries:Algeria
Egypt;Iraq;Jordan;Lebanon;Libya;Morocco;Oman;Syria (only for professionals living outside Syria);Tunisia;Palestine (West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem).
- Have a valid passport.
- Have at least 3 years of professional experience (for short courses) or a Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s programs).
- Be employed in a relevant field (NGOs, government, education, or private sector).
- Obtain a letter of endorsement from their employer (commitment to return after studies).
- Meet the language requirements (usually IELTS/TOEFL for English-taught programs).
- Not be employed by multinational corporations, UN organizations, or large NGOs unless they have a clear development focus.
