Description: Northumbria Law School is seeking to attract the highest calibre of students to its Bar Course programmes. Our aim is to encourage access and enable capable and motivated students to enter the legal profession. In furtherance of this aim, Northumbria Law School is pleased to offer five Bar Course Scholarships.
For September 2025, three holders of a Bar Course Scholarship will enjoy a full waiver of the fees for the Bar Course (subject to the terms and conditions stated below). An additional two scholars will receive a £5,000 discount off the tuition fee.
Eligibility:
To be eligible to apply for the Bar Course Scholarship for September 2025 you must:
- Be a Home, EU or International applicant
- Have already applied to study the Bar Course at Northumbria University, commencing in September 2025 – Please note, you do not have to be holding an offer at the time of application
- Subsequently meet the terms and conditions of your offer for the Bar Course
- Be a self-funded student and not have fees which are paid in full or in part through a sponsorship arrangement, i.e. employer funded.
- Students selected for the Bar Course Scholarship will no longer be eligible for any other postgraduate discounts.
