Description: January 14, 2025 – Global Affairs Canada’s Study in Canada Scholarships are now accepting applications from Canadian institutions for the 2025-2026 academic year!
The program aims to strengthen and diversify Canada’s international linkages and partnerships. By offering Canadian post-secondary institutions the opportunity to host international students from a diverse range of countries and territories for short-term exchanges, the program enriches Canada’s educational engagement with a wide range of partners.
Scholarships are offered to international students wishing to pursue short-term studies or research in Canada.
Eligibility:
To be eligible, candidates must be:
- citizens of a country/territory listed below: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia;
- enrolled full-time at a post-secondary institution in an eligible country/territory;
- paying tuition fees to that institution at the time of application and for the full duration of the scholarship program.
Candidates are not eligible for this scholarship if they:
- hold or have a pending application for Canadian citizenship or permanent residency;
- are already participating in a scholarship program funded by the Government of Canada;
- are already enrolled in a degree, diploma or certificate program at a Canadian post-secondary institution.
