Description:
The Scholarship was established in 2019 and is funded by the Hinrich Foundation, a philanthropic organisation with a mission of promoting sustainable global trade, and the Li Ka Shing Foundation, a Hong Kong based charitable organisation.
The intention of the Scholarship is to encourage and support international students who are undertaking a Master of International Business at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for Scholarship consideration, applicants must be
- an international student,
- enrolled, or enrolling, full-time in a Master of International Business (MIntBus) degree programme at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland, and
- have at least five years of full-time work experience.
- Have a grade point average (GPA) or grade point equivalent (GPE) of at least 7.00 in the most recently qualifying programme is required for Scholarship consideration .
- The basis of selection will be academic merit.
and an essay describing the applicant’s motivation for working in trade and how the MIntBus will help them to achieve future career development in alignment with the Hinrich Foundation’s mission of advancing sustainable global trade, and performance in an interview.
