Description: The Erasmus Mundus scholarship offers exceptional financial support for the highest-ranked applicants pursuing the MAGMa programme, ensuring a smooth and enriching academic experience.

The scholarship provides a maximum of €33,600. This covers tuition fees, travel insurance, and provides a monthly stipend throughout the 2 years to cover living expenses at each of the mobility lcoations. 

Eligibility:

  • EMJMD student scholarships cover the entire duration of the Master course and are awarded exclusively for full-time enrolment in the course.  Scholarship candidates must have already obtained a first higher education degree or demonstrate a recognised equivalent level of learning according to national rules and legislation in place. Candidates who will only obtain their first higher education degree at the end of the academic year preceding the EMJMD intake can nevertheless apply for a scholarship and can be selected by the consortium, under the condition that the student obtains the required degree prior to the beginning of the Master course.
  • Students who have already obtained an EMJMD scholarship or are former Action 1 Erasmus Mundus Master/Doctoral scholarship holders are not eligible for an additional scholarship under the EMJMD action. Students benefiting from an EMJMD scholarship cannot benefit from another EU grant while persuing their EMJMD scholarship studies.
  • EMJMD scholarship holders must spend at least two complete mobility periods in at least two of the consortium’s full degree awarding partners which are located in different Programme Countries (i.e. 2 complete mobility periods in Programme Countries different from country of residence*). Each of these mandatory mobility periods must include a volume of study/research or equivalent corresponding to at least 30 ECTS.   For the IMCEERES course this means Tartu (30 ECTS) and Glasgow (30 ECTS).
