Scholarship value: amounts to AU$10,000 tax-free per annum over upto a three (3) year period.

Description: UNE welcomes the opportunity to provide the NSW Education Waratah Scholarship support to students interested in undertaking study at Australia’s oldest regional university,Recipients of this Scholarship will be known as Waratah Scholars. The NSW Education Waratah Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis in the form of a top-up scholarship to an RTP stipend to higher degree research students undertaking research aligned with one or more of the research priorities that align with the Department’s Strategic plan and goals.

Eligibility:

• Currently in receipt of a RTP Scholarship, or have been awarded a RTP Scholarship and planning to commence by 31 March 2025
• Enrolled on a full time basis, or planning to commence by 31 March 2025
• Engaged in a research project that aligns with one or more of the following departmental research priorities:
