Description: Since 2008 Eni has been offering the Eni Award, aimed at promoting and award research and technological innovation in the fields of energy and environment.The Young Researcher of the Year Prize constitutes one of the six sections of the Eni Award, composed by the Advanced Environmental Solutions, Energy Transition, Energy Frontiers, Young Talents from Africa Prizes and “Eni for Innovation” Recognition. The purpose of the Young Researcher of the Year Prize is to valorize new generations of researchers and their innovations, aimed to foster a net-zero carbon future, decarbonizing the energy system, preserving natural capital and promoting an efficient and sustainable access to energy, according to SDGs.

Eligibility:

1.graduates born in or after the year 1992

2.have defended their doctorate thesis at an Italian University during 2024 or 2023 on the various scientific topics promoted by the Eni Award on the energy and the environment.
