Description: This prestigious scholarship recognises students with strong academic abilities who are aiming for significant achievements in their chosen field of study or research. The scholarship aims to nurture high-achieving students via networking and development opportunities to progress their education at Te Whare Wānanga o Waitaha | University of Canterbury in innovative areas and make connections to advance their careers.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the Scholarship,
- Applicants must have achieved Excellence at NCEA Level 2 or a corresponding level in
an equivalent university entrance qualification. Applicants with NCEA Level 2 Merit or
equivalent may be considered if they are regarded as excelling in a particular area of the
selection criteria. - Applicants must not have been enrolled in a degree programme at any tertiary institute.3
- Applicants must be:
a. Aotearoa New Zealand or Australian citizens; or
b. holders of Aotearoa New Zealand residence class visas; or
c. international students1 studying at secondary level in Aotearoa New Zealand.
