Description: In recent years, Victoria University of Wellington has been making a dedicated effort to increase our intellectual influence in the Asia–Pacific region in line with our Strategic Plan. As part of this, the University would like to support and encourage more Latin American students to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at our University by offering $5,000 fees scholarships to Latin American students enrolling in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course of study. Applicants must not only be strong academically, but must also demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities and have a focus on internationalisation.

Eligibility:
l Applicants must be enrolling in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Victoria University of Wellington. PhD, Pre-degree, or Study Abroad and Exchange students are not eligible for this award.

l This award will apply only to new students who have not previously been enrolled at Victoria University of Wellington. An exception will be made for students who have previously completed a pre-degree course (EAP or Foundation) at Victoria University of Wellington.

l Students must have met the English Language Requirements for study at Victoria University of Wellington.
