Description: These scholarships are offered by Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur (MES) to foster international research activities in Québec universities, attract the best international students, and promote Québec universities abroad.
Eligibility:
Candidates are eligible for master’s research scholarships for the first six semesters of their master’s studies.
To apply, candidates must
l have been enrolled in a master’s program for up to three full-time semesters (1 year) or less before May 1, 2025. All semesters made in another master program are included in the total number of semesters.
l In addition to the eligibility criteria listed on the FRQNT website, Université Laval has the following requirements:
• Minimum GPA of 4/4.33* for the last Bachelor’s degree program, completed or not.
• Applicants must already be registered or have accepted an offer of admission in a master program at University Laval when applying for the scholarship or be already registered to Laval University;
